Conservation Workshop Night

  • Come join in a discussion and hands on learning experience about conservation in Alberta. We invite all interested community members to come out and enjoy an evening of interactive presentations and socializing.

    6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

    Take a journey of discovery down the Bow River from the headwaters to the Hudson Bay. Learn about the importance of our water by looking at the Alberta landscape, science and usage. Work together to find solutions to ensure a healthier future for this precious resource in Alberta.

    Join the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society of Southern Alberta in exploring your love of parks. Learn about the history of our protected landscapes and the species that call them home. Discuss and discover why wilderness plays an important role in our lives from land-use to health. This interactive workshop provides a hands-on, thought provoking approach to connecting with natural spaces.
