Parks Canada is hosting a public consultation on the proposed Thaidene Nene National Park Reserve on the East Arm of Great Slave Lake in the Northwest Territories.
This is an exciting and important opportunity to support the protection of the "Land of the Ancestors" through the creation of a magnificent new northern national park in partnership with Lutsel K'e Dene First Nation.
The park will protect the unique northern wildlfe and an area of spectacular beauty. Establishing this park will also help the Lutsel K'e Denesoline build a sustainable future for their community through conservation, nature and culture-based tourism.
CPAWS has worked with Lutsel K'e for many years to get to this moment, and now we need Canadians to come out and voice their support!
