All You Need to Know about the SSRP!


CPAWS Southern Alberta Chapter recently held two Draft South Saskatchewan Regional Plan (SSRP) workshops. The workshops provided general infomation about the Draft SSRP and a variety of ways to express your views to the Government of Alberta. The Government of Alberta will be holding public consultation sessions on the Draft South Saskatchewan Regional Plan across Alberta from November 5 - November 28th.  Please go to the ESRD Website for details on consultation dates and times.  Attending a public consultation session is an excellent way to express your views on the Draft SSRP directly to the Government of Alberta.

The South Saskatchewan regional planning area includes the lands and waters of the South Saskatchewan River Basin.  The region contains a diversity of ecosystems including grasslands, foothills and mountain that support our way of life in Alberta.
