The CampLand Institute for Leisurely Pursuits and CPAWS Southern Alberta invite you to join us for our first-ever Campfire Tales, an evening of supernatural, spine-tingling fun.
We’ll be serving up seasonal treats like s’mores and hot chocolate around a cozy campfire, while we share frightful stories of Alberta’s vanishing wildlife and wilderness. We’ll also learn what we can do to help at-risk critters stick around in our province! Along the way, we’ll cast a few spells, play some hair-raising tunes, and try our hand at seasonal crafts.
This is a family-friendly event for parents, caregivers, and kiddos of any age! All are welcome.
Date: Thursday, October 24
Time: 5—7PM
Location: CampLand Institute for Leisurely Pursuits | 1119 10 Ave SE, Calgary
*We’ll open up the store doors if the weather is mild for our campfire, so please dress appropriately
Cost: By donation, please choose whichever tier you’re most comfortable with in the registration below!
Costumes are encouraged but not required! We’ll have a mask-crafting station in-store — with feathers and sequins and scissors and glue (and more!) — so that you can whip up your own wildlife-themed masks to wear and take home with you.
