PURPOSE
This series of lesson plans has been designed by teachers to help students deal with the “climate anxiety” that so many of them are feeling. Each lesson has been rigorously tested and modified in grade five and six classrooms in several different schools.
DETAILS
These lesson plans are well-structured to make them easy to use. You are most welcome to modify them in any way to fit your students better. The grade six lessons are identical to the grade five lessons except for the learning outcomes. All outcomes are from the 2023 Alberta Science Curriculum. All internet links are embedded in the lesson plans.
