Support conservation in Alberta
Become a Voice for Wilderness
You play a vital role in protecting Alberta’s lands and waters. When you invest in Alberta’s landscape, you’re investing in a healthy future for your children and grandchildren, and giving them the opportunity to know the same Alberta experiences that you did. You can trust that CPAWS Southern Alberta will protect your wild backyard and your special places. We are committed to working with our partners, Indigenous communities, and stakeholders on this mission. But we can’t do this without you. With your support, we can protect a diverse and resilient landscape that promotes mental and physical well-being for future generations to come.
You can make a single gift or support CPAWS with a monthly donation.

On a Campaign
CPAWS works on Canada’s public lands and waters. 90% of land and freshwater, and 100% of the ocean are in the public domain, meaning they belong to all Canadians and are stewarded by governments on our behalf. By taking action on a campaign, you are asserting your right to have a say about what decisions are made on our public lands and waters.
We believe that connections are key. Personal connections with the landscape, connections with one another, and the connections between our lands and waters. Our wide network across the province allows us to collaborate with and amplify local Albertan voices to give them the power to be the voice for wilderness. We bring Albertans together to fight for our shared landscape. Join the CPAWS family and take action today.
Donate
Your financial support makes our work possible, and we make it go a long way. CPAWS spends over 70% of each dollar on conservation and education. When you make a donation of $20 or more, you will receive the following benefits for one year:
- A tax receipt
- Two issues per year of our information-packed national newsletter, Canadian Wilderness
- CPAWS Annual Report
- Information from your local CPAWS chapter (the one located closest to your mailing address within your province or territory)
You may opt out of receiving any of these benefits by informing the CPAWS office at 1-800-333-WILD at any time.
