MEC Paddlefest

Waterton Wildflower Festival
The spectacular setting of Waterton Lakes National Park is home to more than 50 per cent of Alberta’s wildflowers… more than any other Rocky Mountain national park! Over 50 of Canada’s rare flowers grow in Waterton, 30 of which are found only in this park.
This amazing diversity of wildflowers will be celebrated in the tenth annual Waterton Wildflower Festival, June 15-23, 2013.
CPAWS will be at the festival for the Wildflower Festival Garden Fair, on Saturday, June 22nd.
MEC Calgary Race Four: 5K/10K/Half Marathon
CPAWS will have an outreach booth at race four of the Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) race series. This event is actually the first of 2 half marathons being held by MEC this year. Whilst discovering Calgary’s pathways come and discover what CPAWS outreach booth has to offer. So run or roll on up (depending if it is pre or post race) and come say hi.
