Join CPAWS Southern Alberta and Banded Peak for a community trail clean-up at Lindsay Park!

Time: 11AM – 3PM
Location: Lindsay Park | 2225 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary

Registration is free and trail clean-up kits will be provided. Plus, there will be a post clean-up patio party at 3PM hosted at Civic Tavern (213 12 Avenue SW) that will include Banded Peak samples, giveaways and more!

Registration:

• Tickets are time-specific to allow for safe pick-up of the kits (your ticket time is your clean-up start time)
• 1 ticket per volunteer (if you’re registering as a group, register each individual separately)

What to Bring:

• Water bottle
• Light snack
• Solid-sole shoes
• Garbage grabber or picker, if you have one
• Weather appropriate clothing

Clean-up Kits Include:

• 2 pairs of disposable gloves
• Garbage bag and recycling bag
• Digital map of clean-up area

Event Details:

• Banded Peak will have a branded tent set-up in the parking lot, which will be the starting point and where you will pick up your clean-up kits
• You can choose whichever direction you’d like to head in for the clean-up
• Once completed, head back to the Banded Peak tent and leave the collected bags with a team member

Pleaste Note:

COVID-19 and AHS guidelines are in effect. If anyone has had a confirmed case of COVID-19, has had contact with a known case of COVID-19/been identified as a close contact of a confirmed case of COVID-19, and/or has been experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please do not attend.

Registered volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and with valid government-issued ID to attend the post clean-up party at Civic Tavern.
