Please join us Sunday, September 21 at The Confluence for a caribou tufting workshop!
Tufting is a traditional Indigenous art form using dyed animal hair to create three-dimensional art, jewelry and to decorate clothing. Join skilled Métis artisan Janis Laboucane to learn how to prepare, cut, and tuft hair, and to explore the historical and cultural significance of tufting to Métis people.
All materials will be supplied and your project is yours to take home.
