Giving a voice to local species at risk.
Get ready to investigate the case of the missing Alberta animals! With your students taking the reins as eco-detectives, they will have to use their problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills to unearth why local species at risk are disappearing. Through fun, collaborative activities students will learn which species are at risk, what's threatening them, and the solutions they can champion to help restore these populations. Then, take the learning outdoors with a guided hike that explores Alberta’s species at risk in their natural habitats.
