We would like to give a big thank you to SkiUphill (or RunUphill in these warmer months), a fairly new ski touring and trail running shop in Canmore, for choosing CPAWS SAB as their 1% For The Planet Partner. This relatively new trail running and ski touring shop in Canmore built their business with many environmental considerations in mind, including the decision to donate 1% of their profits to conservation work in Alberta.

We asked Gavin Harmecy of SkiUphill.ca why they chose to support CPAWS Southern Alberta.

“We are passionate about getting people outdoors to enjoy our pristine wilderness and to keep it, well pristine. For us, that means getting people off the resort chairlifts and into backcountry skiing and getting them off the paved paths in the cities and onto mountain trails.
