Grizzly Bears Forever

Rekindle kinship with a keystone species unlike any other

More than adorable animals or fierce enemies, grizzly bears hold the key to the widespread sustainability of our wild places. So, take a walk on the wild side, and join CPAWS as we explore these complex creatures. Biologists consider the grizzly bear to be an indicator species used to assess ecosystem health - making the study of their habits and habitat an incredible opportunity to learn about larger eco-issues, such as ecosystems, biological diversity, and community and population biology.

Feeling amped to inspire the next generation of Griz Guardians in your very own classroom? Grizzly Bears Forever engages all eight Alberta Education Student Competencies while inviting teachers to:

• re-examine and reimagine our own eco-impacts,
• explore and stay safe in bear country, and
• advocate always for the reign and domain of our phenomenal grizzlies
