Canadians overwhelmingly want more protection for natural areas and the stunning abundance of life they support.
The federal and provincial government have committed to protecting 17 percent of land and freshwater by 2020, and the federal government has committed to 30 percent by 2030. And Canada and Indigenous partners have taken important steps to protect our shared lands.
Today, we’re asking all Canadians to keep us moving on this path. We’re asking you to Make Room for Nature.
People in southern Alberta and across Canada can work together to protect our most cherished protected areas. We know it can be done!
But we need your help in encouraging our leaders to achieve their ambitious targets.
Add your voice to a groundswell of Canadians standing together to Make Room for Nature. Get Involved, Take Action or Subscribe to our newsletter to learn how you can help make room for nature today!
