CPAWS Southern Alberta acknowledges that they work in the traditional territories of the Siksikaitsitapi (Blackfoot Confederacy), comprised of the Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, and Amskapi Piikani First Nations; the Tsuut'ina First Nation; the Îyârhe Nakoda, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations; the Ktunaxa Nation; and the Otipemisiwak Métis Nation of Alberta.
